Highly satisfied with the quality of these notebooks, as well as the prices. The pages are a nice weight and the books feel sturdy and well-construction. I also appreciate the free embossing and the variety of embossing options. These notebooks offer excellent value for the price!

The notebook is great. The pages thick. I chose college ruled which are perfect for my immediate needs.
The stained glass decor of a rose is beautiful but I thought it would be more like a 3 D type design, but I still love it. It is worth every penny.

I am left-handed, so normal spiral (an other) notebooks are just not comfortable, but I really loved the look of these. (I know I could just turn a notebook around, but then the lines aren't right and the "back" is the front and I didn't want that.
So I contacted Mike and asked if he could change the side the spiral goes on.
Not only was he happy to do it for me, they were done so quickly.
From ordering to getting my product was only 4 days.

I've been journaling for decades. My journal goes everywhere with me and I probably write on average 3-4 times a day. Over the years I've tried almost every brand of journal there is. On average I go through a journal every 1.5 months. So paper quality and cost are two of my bigger selling points. I primarily use fountain pens and have many that range from Medium to broad nibs. Many of these pens put down a ton of ink. There has never been any bleed through, or any feathering, or even ghosting. I can't say enough about these journals. I always get the hard cover lined A5 (just my preference) but the fact that they come in so many different styles and sizes is nice too know I could vary if I wanted to is comforting. The A5 fits into my favorite journal cover (see picture) and I will sing its praise forever! I can't recommend this company enough!! Do not hesitate to try them !!!

I use A5 journals for my board gaming and RPG hobbies. I keep notes of all my boardgames in journals and I use a journal for each of my RPG campaigns. I've tried various notebooks, iPad apps and notepads. The OtterBlotter A5 is working out as my best choice. The paper holds up very well to fountain pens, the bookmark is very helpful and they lay almost perfectly flat. The only thing I miss is page numbering, which I wind up doing myself. Price is very reasonable compared to other premium A5 notebooks. I stock up whenever they go on sale. Keep up the great work.

I purchased the hard cover lined journal trying to find a less expensive alternative to the famous name fountain pen friendly paper, and Otter Blotter hit a homerun! The journals are well made, attractive and the paper is fountain pen friendly: even using my wettest nibs and ink, there is no feathering, no ghosting and no bleeding. All at about a 1/3 of the price of the more famous paper. I see no reason to ever go back to one of the more well known brands. Otter Blotter has become my go to journal. Add the personalization which makes their price point even more attractive. Super happy with the purchase. I even bought several as gifts for other people.
